Anne Rehkopf
2014 Frances Lovering Award Winner

As well as very involved in Catholic Women's League, Anne was instrumental in setting up The Human Traffic Awareness Program about younger women sold and put on the streets to sell themselves. She has contacted all the schools, school boards, other churches and police to make people aware of what was happening, not just in the big city, but also in small towns.

She helps put on skits for local nursing home, where the smiles on the people's faces show the people loved the skit; and she makes soup for the Lenten lunches. Anne has been in many of the programs that are presented at the Hamilton Conventions. Anne is very helpful within the Parish:  is parish secretary; and a liturgical Eucharistic Minister; and volunteers as an Extra-Ordinary Minister bringing communion to the shut-ins.

She helps with the Catholic Women's League Prayers at the funeral home and assists with funeral lunches; and she is a greeter, an usher and involved with Youth Ministry.

Anne is a very important part of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. She helps to make appointments for the people to come in, she also sets up appointments for the Christmas Hampers. Anne is a local young woman who has such a gift. She is very spiritual, when you have a chat with her or listen to what she says you feel better automatically.

Anne comes from a very faithful family, which includes her husband Daryl, her mom and dad, 3 brothers 2 sisters. Anne also has a brother who is Bishop Peter Hundt. Anne and Daryl have two children, a young man and a young daughter and they have just become grandparents of a new baby girl. Anne's eyes sparkle when she talks about any members of her immediate family.
