Imagine! 100 Years of The Catholic Women’s League in the diocese of Hamilton. What a wonderful time to reflect and look back at how much The Catholic Women’s League has made a difference in your life! In the life of your Parish! In your community!

The 100th Anniversary Planning Committee is organizing some special events throughout the years leading up to the grand finale in 2020, where a yearlong celebration of memories begin. So stay tuned!

2020 is just around the corner so:

  • Start planning now to attend;
  • Dig out your council archives;
  • Put a little money aside to send members to convention; and ...
  • Get out your dancing shoes, you’re gonna need them.

Diocesan 100th Anniversary Convention
May 29-31, 2020

Anniversary Timeline

Anniversary Prayer Book
  Prayer Book Presentation — We invite all members and councils to submit an original prayer for this special book.
  Writing a Prayer Workshop — A workshop of how your council can create prayers for this special book.

Special Anniversary Projects
  Community Service Projects — This community service project is to be completed in 2019, and reported at the Spring Regional Meetings in 2020.
  School Involvement — Inspire our youth in joyful service and create excitement for the upcoming celebration of 100 years.
  Tree of Life and Time Capsule — Plant a tree, create a garden and other ideas. Each council will have the opportunity to place ONE photo in the "Time Capsule" at the 2020 convention.
